Progress Meeting

We support resident attendance at the Progress Meeting. Be sure to ask your program coordinator about sponsorship opportunities to participate in our annual ACP activities and the Progress Meeting.

Doctor’s Dilemma

Each residency program in Iowa sends a team to compete in Doctor’s Dilemma, where you can showcase your skills and compete for the chance to represent Iowa at the National ACP Meeting.​

Leadership Day

Every year, we send a delegation to Leadership Day on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. This event features sessions on healthcare advocacy, providing residents with valuable insights into the intersection of medicine and policy. It’s an unmissable opportunity for those interested in advocacy to engage with leaders in the field.​

Annual CV Competition

A highlight of the Progress Meeting, the Annual Clinical Vignette Competition allows residents to present in front of Iowa physicians. The winner will represent Iowa at the national ACP Internal Medicine meeting by presenting a poster at the national poster competition!​
